Helping The Homeland

The Modis have sponsored many educational projects like the summer/winter school to teach the Jain philosophy in India. They have also funded Jain study centers in New Delhi, Ahmedabad and many other places in India. They have assisted non-profitable charities like Shree Bidada Sarvodaya Trust in their healthcare and medical activities. 

Drs. Meera and Jasvant Modi also raised funds to support the Jain Prakrit study in India. Jasvant Modi pledged and funded the boys and girls hostels at Shri Mahavira Jain Vidyalaya in Vadodara and Surat, respectively. 

The well-being of this institution is close to his heart because of the role this 103-year-old organization played in the outcome of his future while studying in India. He stayed at one of the hostels of Shri Mahavira Jain Vidyalaya during his college days in Ahmedabad.
