After a voluntary retirement in 2014, Dr. Jasvant Modi dedicated all his time to charitable activities and philanthropy. In March 2015, when he started Vardhamana Charitable Foundation, he remained involved in the other engagements he was already sparing his time and efforts for. 

He has also been associated with other charitable trusts like Akshay Patra and Pratham, SAHARA, Indians for Collective Action, Sankara Eye Foundation, Jaipur Foot, Leela Art Institute, LIFE Charity, International School for Jain, etc. 

He was elected the LA Chapter Chairman for Akshay Patra in the year 2018-2019. He has also volunteered in medical missionary camps in India.

The Modis have also helped in fundraisers for the people in need around the globe. Additionally, Dr. Jasvant Modi regularly helps in his friends’ free health clinics and during health fairs. They also regularly participated in and funded medical camps at the Jain Center of Southern California (JCSC). 

He has been given excellence awards by the Temple Community Hospital for his commitment toward medicine and his patients and charitable healthcare.
